Welcome to the Cliff Drive Scenic Byway Corridor Management Committee Cliff Drive website! We are a group of concerned citizens working with the Kansas City Parks and Recreation Department toward the continued revitalization of Cliff Drive and Kessler Park.
Cliff Drive, the first urban Scenic Byway in the State, is located in the Historic Northeast section of Kansas City. The drive twists and turns along the limestone cliffs high above the Missouri river through the wooded isles of one of Kansas City's oldest parks, Kessler Park. Originally built for Sunday rides in horse-and-buggy, Cliff Drive is now used by joggers, walkers, bicyclists, skaters and more, as well as the auto-tourist.
